Norman Brodsky has been a pillar of the entrepreneurial community for more than 30 years. You may be familiar with Norm from reading any of the hundreds of “Ask Norm” business advice column articles in Inc. Magazine, or from attending one of the 5,000 Inc. events he has led. You may have read one of his best selling business books that have been published 17 languages, or applied to attend his Birthing of Giants University for Entrepreneurs.
Norm knows a thing or two about business challenges. In the last 30 years, Norm Brodsky went from practicing law to developing a business spread out over 12 states with more than 5,000 employees which ended up in bankruptcy. At the age of 45, leveraging tough lessons learned, combined with pure grit and motivation, Norm went on to create multiple $100,000,000+ enterprises including a storage business, hotels, restaurants, real estate and many others. In recognition of these accomplishments, Rider University honored Norm by renaming their Business school to the “Norman Brodsky School of Business”, in 2019.
Norm has been coaching entrepreneurs for more than 30 years, helping them develop stronger business models, navigate through positive or negative challenges and opportunities, and guided closely held companies through partner buyouts, acquisitions and sales.
Shlomo Birnbaum is a serial entrepreneur with a knack for marketing. Shlomo began his entrepreneurial career in 2001 turning around a 40 year old Brooklyn-based furniture service company on the verge of bankruptcy. Over the next decade, Shlomo developed the company into a furniture dealership with a flagship New York City showroom, created an office supply company, purchased an office equipment company, created and spun off a coffee distribution company, developed several new beverage brands, and launched a real estate venture. Shlomo has ranked on the Inc. 5000 list three times and made it on to the Inc. 500 twice, most recently ranking as the #11 fastest growing company in the US in 2017.
Shlomo’s love for business and his innate entrepreneurial spirit have always driven him to give back, by helping other entrepreneurs navigate the “what comes next” on their journey. Shlomo’s mission is to help smooth out the very tolling and complex journey by sharing his hard-fought lessons, and the insights he has gleaned through advising hundreds of entrepreneurs along the way.
